Taylor's story so far... In May 2007, Taylor Holweger, 4 year old daughter of Brent & Staci Holweger, was diagnosed with AML, which is a rare form of leukemia. "Taylorfest" is an organized fundraiser to help pay for medical expenses incurred by the family during her lengthy treatment and recovery. Taylorfest will be held at Frontier Restaurant and Bar on September 9, 2007. The restaurant is located at the intersection of N. Green River Rd. and Hwy 57 in Evansville. [google map & directions] Events will include catered meals, live music, beer & alcohol sales, bike and car photo sessions, a silent auction, poker run, horseshoe, washer and cornhole tournaments, biker wear sales, refreshments, raffles, giveaways, and a full day of fun with friends. TAYLORFEST UPDATE! TaylorFest was a huge success! Together, we raised over $12,400 in just one day, and the money is still coming in with continued t-shirt and bracelet sales. Our silent and live auctions were a big hit, and we had tons of generous donations. Thank you to everyone who helped by volunteering their time, money & prayers to this worthy cause.
